I had the pleasure of working on this Power Generator for the development of a "Realistic Prop's creation for Video Games" tutorial with Domêstika (https://www.domestika.org/es/courses/746-creacion-de-props-realistas-para-videojuegos/paulasfr) This asset's been made following all the necessary steps to fulfill the workflow of the actual video game's industry.
This course is created for all people interested in learning to create assets for AAA games from scratch, as well as the workflow we follow for them in the industry. Along this tutorial, I will show you how to model a detailed hard-surface high poly by using both support loops for SubD elements and booleans, while adding floaters and bolts where necessary. Then, I will explain how to face the low poly stage by doing a low poly model as optimized as possible and we will create it's UVs for later bake. We will end up texturing and illuminating our asset before rendering.
